Merger & Acquisition Support

Our strategic team has managed numerous acquisition, consolidation and website merger projects. When new practices are acquired or merged, there is a sequencing that needs to take place to properly combine or align web applications to ensure an experience that’s minimally disruptive to the patient experience and to your organic rank. Our M&A team can help you navigate this process. 

We recently partnered with a large MSO that operates in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) specialty. This MSO manages more than a dozen individual practices or web properties throughout the eastern US. As a private equity and managed services organization, this MSO provides all business administration, operations, marketing and staffing services for OMS practices under their control. The MSO engaged with E-dreamz to develop a Practice Site Builder (PSB) web application to support all of their OMS medical websites as well as their ancillary websites for specific surgical procedures & cosmetic services. We also redesigned their corporate website. 

Extensive time was spent in the initial planning & discovery phases with the MSO to help them audit their current digital footprint - which was comprised of multiple websites supported by multiple different vendors, each using different utilities for appointments, payments, call-tracking, etc. Additionally, there were major compliance concerns on many of the websites with unsecured web forms passing PHI, third party ad trackers, lack of accessibility tools for ADA compliance, and un-monitored web hosting. 

E-dreamz performed a security audit, provided remediation options to the MSO, and created an accelerated development timeline to help get all of their compliance issues resolved as quickly as possible. 

During this time, we facilitated partnerships and agreements with other providers of HIPAA-compliant, healthcare-focused systems and technology to help the MSO create a standardized digital toolkit for operating all of their practices. This included implementing and integrating services such as Freshpaint for data anonymization, Rectangle Health for Payments, Liine for call tracking & monitoring, and Intiveo & Jotform for secure data handling. 

Once all compliance issues were resolved and appropriate data handling tools were in place, we then focused on patient experience & SEO, by augmenting the PSB front-end with updated design assets aligned with the MSO’s marketing focus and robust landing page layouts that supported their overall campaign strategy. 

We continue to support this MSO through our monthly retainer model, providing a comprehensive suite of services including compliance monitoring, website management, digital marketing, and web technology consultation.
